The National Hotel plays host to a number of exclusive function spaces in Richmond, perfect for your next event. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, hosting a special event, or organising a corporate function or Christmas party, our selection of unique spaces are sure to suit. Are you envisioning a cocktail setting or maybe a casual lunch? We can accommodate smaller groups of 10, up to large groups of 70 guests. Our menu is inspired by the delicious flavours of Asia with a modern twist and is accompanied by an extensive drinks list.

THE GARDEN PARLOUR

  • The Garden Parlour offers a customisable experience where you can tailor every detail to your liking. Your guests are sure to appreciate the modern design and private bar, as well as the charming ambiance formed by the faint sounds of the nearby bustling beer garden. Its adaptable furniture arrangement makes the Garden Parlour an ideal choice for hosting a variety of events.

  • SEATED: 48 PAX STANDING: UP TO 60 PAX

    Features: exclusive access to private bar, TV screen with HDMI access, microphone, heating, outdoor space available.

    *Guest numbers over 50 will be allocated tables on the deck adjacent.

THE BEER GARDEN

  • The courtyard/beer garden is perfect for all group bookings. Large tables line the timber deck, and the scene is set with hanging lamps in amber glass bottles bolstered across the courtyard, providing a twist on the Chinese lantern. Canapés and a la carté is available, with easy access to the main bar.

  • Bookings of 6 – 40* are welcome, with a credit card required for bookings over 10+

    *Peak/off peak limits apply.

CAFÉ

  • Our Café space offers an intimate setting featuring a cozy fireplace and an elegant long parquetry table, with picturesque views of Victoria Street. Exclusively available, this room is perfect for presentations, group meetings, and private dinners. Its adaptable design also makes it effortless to transform into a cocktail-style event space.

  • SEATED: 20 PAX STANDING: 40 PAX

    Features: private space, direct bar access, all menu options, heating.

THE DEN

  • The Den is our semi-private dining room, accessible from the main bar area. It boasts a cozy atmosphere with a fireplace and exposed brick walls, perfect for intimate seated dinners. Additionally, the space features a TV screen for added convenience and entertainment.

  • SEATED: 10 PAX

    Features: private space, all menu options, heating.

INDOOR TABLE BOOKINGS

Casual table bookings are available for our indoor dining throughout the week. These can be booked here.
